- Simply visit one of our stores and buy a Starter Pack voucher, this can then be used online to apply for a card. The £7.99 card fee will be deducted from the voucher value when you activate your account. You'll get your card in the post within ten working days.

For online and telephone applications, please have the following to hand: your address details, post code, your mobile phone number, your debit/credit card (as you'll need to pay the £7.99 card purchase fee during the application process)
A unique code from the Starter Pack you have purchased in one of our Range stores (the code can be found under the scratch panel on the back of the card)

Lock and Unlock
The Range Prepaid MasterCard® offers a lock and unlock feature which is intended to be used for temporarily locking your card to stop others attempting to use it or if you do not wish to use it for an extended period of time.
Locking your card is a simple and secure way to mange your Range card, once you have locked the card it cannot be unlocked until you send the command. In order to unlock and lock your card you simply need to follow the instructions below.
If you suspect that your card is lost or has been stolen, you should contact customer services on +44 (0) 207 125 0201 immediately.
To temporarily prevent any withdrawals from cash machines (ATMs) and purchases via retailers (POS)), you can lock your RANGE card using the following command
Text: "LOCK <Last four digits of your card number>" to + 44 (0) 762 480 0932
Example: LOCK 1234
To reverse the lock option
Text: "UNLOCK <Last four digits of your card number>" to + 44 (0) 762 480 0932
